Well, we ended up taking April to the doctor today after discovering lumps behind her ears and (more terrifyingly) in the back of her head! Doctor checked her over thoroughly and discovered more lumps all down her throat and round her neck under her chin and said her glands are all up. She said it's some kind of virus but decided against giving her antibiotics because, apparently, they can make things worse. She's pretty confident it will clear up on it's own within a day or two.

Strangely, April is pretty normal (apart from rubbing her throat in an irritated way every now and again) and is bouncing around the place and playing in the garden as if nothing was wrong. Bizarre!

The rest of us seem fine so heaven only knows where she picked that up from *baffled*
