The Sellers Family Homeschool Blog

Ok, I've done my usual trick and overstretched myself again. This whole blog and it's various associated sites is becoming out of control, messy and, frankly, a burden. My fault - I always go into things very enthusiastically and then realise I've bitten off more than I can chew!

The thing is - the bottom line - I have children that need an education and a husband that needs my attention more than he's getting and instead I'm spending increasing amounts of time sitting at this computer day in day out! The Oak Meadow curriculum for example - I chose this partly for Rosie's benefit and partly for mine, just so I could get organised and actually start TEACHING her something instead of wasting entire days away. I'm not going to be able to do that if I'm sat at the pute every day and it would be a waste of money, SO a large amount of de-junking needs to take place.

So I am going to take a break - a proper one this time. I'm going to switch off comments temporarily (if comments are there then I keep checking them!). Tim is going to tidy up the blog for me (clearing away old and duff links, generally tidying up the sidebar, maybe simplifying the overall whole look of the blog etc). I'm going to ditch the home blog - simply because I'm not keeping it updated so its a waste of space, the Montessori stuff will stay BUT I'm REALLY not sure about the unit study group or (sadly) the Me and Mum shop. I'm not sure I've got the time or energy to keep adding stuff to it.

The point is, this blog has becoming bigger than me lol!

I'm not sure when I'll be blogging regularly again - couple of weeks perhaps but I really need a break from this whole merry-go-round and do something else for a bit. In the meantime please don't desert me lol! Keep checking back because the blog will be having a bit of a facelift in the next couple of weeks :)
