FOOD AND NUTRITION LAPBOOK

I meant to post this the other day and totally forgot! Anyway, here is Rosie's food and nutrition lapbook. As always, extremely duff photography means you can't make out the writing!

The cover!

The flaps down each side have the title "Why does my body need....." - each flap then corresponded to a different nutrient (for example carbohydrates, vitamins, fibre and calcium). At the top in the middle is a little booklet with pictures that Rosie had sorted into different food groups stuck onto appropriate pages. At the bottom is a graph Rosie kept for a day showing how much of different types of food she ate.

This shows one side of flaps open to show the little comment Rosie wrote for each nutrient and a drawing of some foods that contain that nutrient. For example "Carbohydrates give you energy".

With the aforementioned booklet open at the fruit and veggies page!

Showing the inside section where Rosie had to write on the food pyramid how many servings a day you should eat of the different food groups.
